Struggling with Sleep Apnea? Here's How I Found Relief

Hi everyone,
I'm a 56 year old male and honestly didn't know where else to turn. My wife has been complaining about my snoring for probably 15 years, but it got really bad after I turned 50. She started sleeping in the guest room because I'd literally stop breathing and then gasp awake, sometimes 6 or 7 times a night that she could count.
The worst part wasn't even the snoring. I was exhausted all the time, gaining weight no matter what I did, and my blood pressure was creeping up. My doctor kept pushing me toward a CPAP machine, but honestly? The idea of sleeping with that thing on my face every night for the rest of my life just felt depressing. Plus, my buddy Jim tried one and said it made him feel claustrophobic - he gave up after two weeks.
